5,673 kilometres driven, €5,400 donated – the FLEX Charity Cars 2026 initiative has successfully come to an end.
From 1 September to 22 October 2026, two electric VW ID.4 vehicles at Luxembourg Central Station (P&R Gare) were on the road for a good cause. With every booking, FLEX customers supported “Op de Patten”, an animal-assisted therapy project by Solina Solidarité Jeunes a.s.b.l.
Thanks to the participation of the FLEX carsharing community and an additional contribution from CFL Mobility, a total donation of €5,400 was raised.
The donation will go entirely towards “Op de Patten”, a project supporting children and young people facing challenging social, family or psychological circumstances. Through structured interaction with animals, the project helps develop trust, self-confidence and social skills.
As a donation-funded initiative, “Op de Patten” relies on financial support to cover animal care and food, educational training materials, facility maintenance and staff costs.
Over the course of the approximately seven-week campaign, the two Charity Cars covered a total of 5,673 kilometres. The initiative demonstrates how sustainable mobility and social responsibility can go hand in hand.
CFL Mobility would like to thank all FLEX customers who contributed to the campaign through their bookings, as well as Solina Solidarité Jeunes for the successful partnership.
