FLEX expands carsharing in Luxembourg City with 16 new stations

As of 1 January 2O26, a new milestone has been reached for carsharing in Luxembourg: FLEX, operated by CFL Mobility, has integrated the Carloh service and taken over 16 carsharing stations in Luxembourg City, previously part of the municipal network. This step completes the nationwide har­mon­i­sa­tion of the carsharing offer and sig­nif­i­cant­ly strengthens shared mobility in the capital.

A larger, simpler offer

With this expansion, users in Luxembourg City now benefit from:

• a fleet of 72 vehicles,
• uniform pricing across the entire FLEX network,
• and easy access via the FLEX app.

For existing FLEX customers, this means improved vehicle avail­abil­i­ty and shorter distances to the nearest car, par­tic­u­lar­ly in densely populated areas.

Com­ple­ment­ing public transport

FLEX carsharing complements public transport and supports a multimodal mobility approach. It helps reduce road traffic and parking demand while offering flexible access to a vehicle whenever needed.

One account, one system

All new vehicles can be booked directly via the FLEX app.
Former Carloh users can easily register on the FLEX platform. More information about the transition is available here.

Outlook

Further investments in FLEX stations are planned across the country to con­tin­u­ous­ly expand the national carsharing network. Since its launch in 2O18, around 25,OOO customers have chosen FLEX. The objective remains clear: to make carsharing a natural part of everyday mobility in Luxembourg.
